random fun...
The fun that was our summer. A few need to be checked off, but this was a big hit/motivator for the four year old.
Double umbrella stroller.
Fun at the beach! Every year my grandparents bring the RV down and camp on the base at Camp Pendleton. We LOVE going to meet them there. The kids are in heaven surrounded by aunts who adore them.
It was Emma's first real experience with the waves. She was timid at first, but then charged.
She would eat it.
And love it.
Her brother was worried because I would let go of her hands. Such a good brother, keeping his sister safe.
Ryan finally learned to boogie board thanks to Aunt Barbie. Scott asked him why he would never do that with him. Ry told him he could only do it at that specific beach, it was the only one where it would work.
That face is the look of pure mischief.
I think he was about to put a sand crab on me.
Love this sandy girl.
Ryan and 'Aunt' Penny played forever in the waves. They love each other.
More mischief.
Emma rinsed off and directed affairs outside the RV. We love our little bossy pants.
So fun, can't wait for next year!
Props to my pops for all the great action shots.

LOVE these, Megan! And as always, I love your commentary on them! (Especially of Emma telling everybody whats what in the RV window). Both your kiddos were so brave in the waves this year! My favorite was Emma trying to go deeper on her knees and Ryan swooping in to "rescue" her.
