Ryan turned 3!

He's showing you how old he is... we're working on it.

He wanted a 'zoo cake'. Is anyone surprised? I secretly love his obsession with animals. I love to see him love something so much. And luckily, since he's little, there were no request for an elephant shaped cake, or a moose cake. He was perfectly happy with plastic animals stuck on top of cupcakes. Its exactly what he described to me.

Here he is sporting his new BYU shirt (matching his dad's) soaking up the attention of Happy Birthday finally being sung to him. 

 

 Blowing out 3 candles is serious business.

Happy Birthday Ryan. Your dad and I fall asleep almost every night talking about how amazing you are. You are so smart! And so kind. You never want us to leave with out a hug and a kiss from you first. You love adventures, tackling, playing animals, and jumping on the bed. You are so tall- tall enough for almost all the rides at Disneyland, and brave enough that you went on your first real roller coaster before you were 3! Everyday you make us feel loved. We are so lucky to get to be your parents. We love you so much.
