So just about every morning this little snuggle bug finds his way into our covers. I am usually barricaded under pillows and blankets trying to squeeze a few extra minutes of sleep while Scott is getting ready for work. (I forgot about the lovely way your body preps for sleep deprivation by making it hard to sleep at night while you are growing your baby.) But Ryan comes running right in and snuggles over to me, seriously its like he's plastered to my back. I love this. He will lay there with me for a while, usually until Scott leaves, which is when he pops up to demand his hug and kiss from Dad. We say family prayer, Scott walks out the door, and more often than not, Ryan and I snuggle back under the covers. Sometimes I ask if he wants to get up, or read, and sometimes he answers by putting his arm around my neck and saying, "Let's just stay here for a little bit."
Melt me.
That minute lasts about 30 seconds before he perks up and asks to play a game, read a book, watch a movie, etc. Usually with a few tickles I can get him to stay for a couple more minutes before we are up to start the day. I love this little morning ritual. I know it will be short lived, but I wish I could freeze and replay these mornings over and over.
PS- Don't want to forget that on Saturday and Sunday mornings Ryan comes in and Scott is still there. Ryan insists on being in his spot. Right smack in the middle of us. He even gets after Scott if he's encroaching on the spot. Such a goober.

So cute! We've decided we need a bigger bed. Ours isn't big enough for this family of five now!
