We love 4th of July around here... because of fireworks, watermelon, and Scott's BIRTHDAY!!! We combined the celebrating with a small barbecue lunch with family and friend. Ryan was scoping out his next super soaker victim from his 'club house.' He's a pretty good shot with those things.
The girls who helped pull of an awesome party. I seriously could not have done it with out you guys... and Mary... where is that Mary?
The handsome man with our new to us barbecue! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa E.! Ryan and Grandpa Possim reassembled it after it made its journey down to us in pieces. It is so awesome.
Scott vs. the pinata. (Which I think have become a 4th tradition for us.) That thing was a beast. He broke that bat and severely dented the other one. We have a two year old, of course we only have plastic bats.
Everyone's favorite prize in the pinata... the lip whistles.
Grandparents Possim, showin the whistle lip love.
Water balloon toss...
The birthday cake I slaved and slaved over.
My favorite picture of the day...
All the work that went into it was so worth the blast we had. Thank you to everyone who came and helped show Scott the love. (Especially if you brought the potato salad, oh my yumness.... you know who you are.)
PS- I can't believe I'm married to a man in his thirties! What a hunk!

Ryan is adorable. love the big back yard!
